  10. I've posted an upgraded version of VAXNOTES-TO-NEWS to VMSNET.SOURCES.  The
  11. following is the readme file:

  13. "VAXNOTES-TO-NEWS V2.2

  15. Basically works the same way, but it can [optionally] consume files sent via
  16. internet mail.  It ignores the headers.  It also is more robust in the face of
  17. some of the vagaries I've seen in the output of NOTES EXTRACT/UNSEEN.

  19. I'm currently using it to gateway the ISVNET notes files into newsgroups and it
  20. works great for that application.

  27. For those of you who don't know what this package does, it consumes the output
  28. of NOTES EXTRACT and creates news batches which can then be added to your news
  29. database using ADD BATCH.
