  33. RT11FB or sj, xm or bl will boot from a system containing more memory.

  37. If XXDP works and FB,XM don't look for 1 of several problems.

  39. 1) Too little memory enabled, or perhaps wrong starting address.

  42. 2) Screwed up interrupt chain or perhaps DMA chain.  Do you have an
  43.    empty slot, wired for DMA board w/o a bus grant jumper installed.
  44.    XXDP does not use interrupts (it polls!).

  46. 3) My memory is dim, but I believe the 11/34 was the only unibus 
  47.    machine that could be set up to use a small i/o page (2k).  Q-bus
  48.    RT11SJ/FB users could get an extra 2K that way (30 vs 28 kw memory).  
  49.    This required a patch in SJ, FB.  It's deadly to XM and unpatched
  50.    monitors.
