  14. I seem to have this problem displaying X-window applications from an 
  15. ULTRIX machine (running MULTINET) to a VAXstation (running UCX :-).
  16.  
  17. The problem is that when I try to display the X-window applications I
  18. get the following message...

  20. Error: Can't Open display
  21.  
  22. with the following environment settings...
  23.  
  24. setenv DISPLAY node.to.display.on:0
  25.  
  26. Now this seems to work on other VAXstations and the only percieved difference
  27. is that node.to.display.on runs UCX not Multinet (like other
  28. VAXen I have successfully got to work) and that I setup UCX on this node :-)

  32. VMS V5.4, UCX 1.3a, DECwindows (not MOTIF) on client...

  47. I think there must be some "toggle" somewhere to allow incoming display's
  48. (if that make sense) but I can't find it in the manuals...
