- 1) Not supported. There are some race conditions in the deletion of
- a LAT device which could result in a machine crash.

- 2) The reality of it is that it works and that (1) is rare. You need
- to set the terminal line PASSALL before starting the network to put
- the LAT box into the weird transparent mode. It may not work
- under future versions of LAT or VMS.
