  15. I am trying to rdump a disk on an IBM RS/6000 to a VMS 8mm exabyte drive.
  16. I have to do several rdumps in order to backup all the partitions of the IBM
  17. disk, but I keep overwriting the tape even though I use /nomount/nounload, ie.
  18.         # rdump 0f vax:muc0:/nomount/nounload/nostream /usr (/var,/tmp..etc)
  19. rrestore tvf vax:muc0: verifies that I always have only a single 'saveset' on
  20. tape.
  21. Sometime ago I read of some problems using rdump with 8mm drives. Can it be
  22. done, or am I missing something?
