- We are trying to add Multinet 3.1 to a newly added member of a
- VAXCluster. The cluster is made up of a 3400, 3300 and the new member
- is a MicroVAX II, all running VMS 5.4-2. The 3300/3400 both have
- Multinet running. However, when I run SYS$COMMON:[MULTINET]CONFIGURE.COM
- to configure the MicroVAX II, after entering all the parameters, it
- bombs out with the following error:
-
- (The last parameter entered was the time zone, and it takes approx. 45
- seconds for this error to appear)
-
- %DCL-W-ACTIMAGE, error activating image MULTINET:COMPILE_HOST_TABLE
- -CLI-E-IMGNAME, image file $1$DIA1:[SYS10.SYSCOMMON][MULTINET]COMPILE_HOST_TABLE.EXE;2
- -SYSTEM-F-VASFULL, virtual address space is full
-
- Looking the SYSTEM error up, it talks about pages/sections of memory.
- I'd persue this, but I'm not sure if these are system parameters that
- need increasing or account parameters (for the process that's running
- the CONFIGURE).
-
- Can anyone shed some light, before I dive into the DEC System Services
- manuals??
-
