  11. I don't know MX capabilities, but I think that SMTP doesn't permit
  12. to open connection to get mail from a remote site. I'm not sure.

  15. I have solved similar problems, very well, by Phonenet over X.25 (Phonent is
  16. a PMDF Transport mechanism). With this solution you will have also useful
  17. accounting information about messages transfer.
