- I would recommend the mechanic I use to anyone. His name is
- Francis Robinson and he works out of Glenn's salvage yard on Wrenn Rd.
- (which is in southeast Durham, near where 70 meets Miami Blvd.).
- His phone number is 596-5466 (ask for Francis, as one of the Glenn's
- always answers the phone).
-
- His shop is not very fancy, and he will take the car out to another
- shop if it needs certain equipment for the repair (like a front-end
- allignment does). He is really great at finding used parts (perfect
- for keeping my old cars on the road). And the best things about
- him are his honesty, his reasonable rates (I've never found anyone
- who would fix a car for less), and his willingness. He's come out
- to repair my car where it is if I can't get it into the shop, and if
- I ever find that the repair hasn't fixed the problem to my satisfaction
- I just have to bring it back in and he he'll do whatever he has to,
- usually for free and always quickly. (Not that that happens often,
- but it's impressed me when it has.) He's restored my faith that there
- are at least a few honest, reliable, skilled mechanics out there.
