- Since it seems to be a slow day on tor.general, I was wondering if
- anyone knew anything about giant slugs in the gardens this year. On
- the weekend, the sig. other was cleaning the garden, when she had a
- total fit. After having to run full speed to the garden, we discovered
- this giant slug, a good 5" long, and an inch thick. I disposed of it,
- but we still have shudders thinking about it. Has anyone come across
- this? Is this a separate variety of the ordinary, teensy slug, or an
- ordinary slug that has gone wild on the mildewy tomatoes? We have to
- find out, we still have some reluctance to go into the garden.
