  11. Since it seems to be a slow day on tor.general, I was wondering if
  12. anyone knew anything about giant slugs in the gardens this year.  On
  13. the weekend, the sig. other was cleaning the garden, when she had a
  14. total fit.  After having to run full speed to the garden, we discovered
  15. this giant slug, a good 5" long, and an inch thick.  I disposed of it,
  16. but we still have shudders thinking about it.  Has anyone come across
  17. this?  Is this a separate variety of the ordinary, teensy slug, or an
  18. ordinary slug that has gone wild on the mildewy tomatoes?  We have to
  19. find out, we still have some reluctance to go into the garden.
