  23. So I walked up to her deck and jacked in.  After the machine boots
  24. into my brain I find myself in virtual reconstruction of the same room
  25. I am was just physically in.  The same except much cleaner and better
  26. organized.

  28. I walk over to the bookshelf and browse through the titles on the
  29. spines:  rec.cooking, alt.gravboard, alt.sex.  More of the usual.  I
  30. don't see what I am looking for.

  32. I think maybe its somewhere else so I point my hands like superman and
  33. float into the bathroom.  Ahhh, there it is!  Behind the toilet.  It
  34. has on old fashioned tooled leather cover with the words
  35. "talk.bizarre" embossed in gold.

  39. Let's see, its an Apple Business Machines Granny Smith 9000/LIX.
  40. What's their MUI slogan?  "Point and Press"?  "Look and Lick"?  No,
  41. "Grasp and Shake", that's it.  So I take the "book" in my metallic
  42. reflecting fingers and give it my best salad bottle shake.

  44. I loose my focus as the paradigm changes.  I find myself in a stone
  45. basement or dungeon except one wall looks like its made of thousands
  46. of video screens.  A thousand different images flicker before me.
  47. Some are faces, some are Picasso-like color patterns.  One is showing
  48. just a pair of h00ters.  That must be Carasso.  Another is an old
  49. fashioned TV colorbar test pattern.  Right next to it is one slightly
  50. dimmer than the rest.  And it's leaking mucous.  Yup, it's rpwhite.
