The thing is is that these same thirteen year old's are supposedly
old enough to decide to have an abortion without parental consent.
How can she be mature enough to decide to have an abortion at
thirteen but not old enough to oppose it?  Furthermore, parental
influence goes both ways on this issue.  If a minor cannot be
expected to protest something that she believes from her own
heart I don't see the logic of saying that she is old enough to
condone it or act upon it.  It is almost implying that the
pro-choice movement is more honest than the pro-life movement.
Both sides use extremist tactics and make it difficult for adults
let alone children decide for themselves.
