- Yes, naive. Texas law allows use of deadly force to protect
- property, but "you think he might have taken something" is a bit
- less than knowing that the person stole your stereo and running
- down the street with it.

- Keep in mind that Texas was the first American state to completely
- prohibit the carrying of handguns by all civilians, in 1871. It's
- all been downhill there since.
