  Umm, Mr. Keegan, I just felt like expanding on the nature of Ms. Birmingham's
objections.  I have included the entire post I last made on the subject below.
MY topic of discussion was Linda's comments.  Not yours, or Darcy's.

  Who was replying to Ms. Birmingham who replied to Doug.  I restricted my
comments to HER comments.  I only left in your att. line so people would know
who was quoting Linda.  I suppose it wasn't really needed.

  Allow me to direct you to the following.  Please note that everything is as it
was.  Holtzinger's original article included a list of moderators.  It would
have been impossible for Linda to miss it.

  Well, he did at least not place his name in consideration as moderator.

  I can only say that the two mod groups I have read or participated in
(sci.military and alt.atheism) seem to have no problems.  The key is always
in getting a good moderator.  From a practical standpoint, I just don't think
it'll work for talk.abortion, though.  Too many posts.
