  24. consider environmental causes. When species go extinct, not only do
  25. possible realizations of genetic roulette not happen, but entire sets of
  26. traits are lost.  You may wish to consider that human population may
  27. have some causal relationship with a recent acceleration in the
  28. extinction rate.
