- The Civil War was fought over the issue of "State's Rights" and the
- proponents of strong federal government won. Roe was just another in the
- long list of federal laws/regulations that took away states' power. "One
- man one vote" took away a state's right to have a perfectly legal (IMHO)
- form of representation, one used by even the federal govt.

- the states when it was adopted....
