- When Hurricane Andrew hit Florida all four orbiters where at KSC.
- OV-105 (Endeavour) was in the VAB. The other three were tucked
- away inside OPF bays.
- The OPF bays probably would have survived realativly unharmed.
- The VAB more than likely would have sustained damage.
