- I have a question that has been bugging me for many years since I took
- my first astronomy and physics classes.

- We know that photons have energy and carry momentum. We also know that
- these photons are deflected by gravity. Even though photons have zero
- rest mass, you can calculate an effective mass for any photon (a function
- of frequency).

- Since the photons are attracted by gravity can a massive object (like a
- person or planet) be attracted to the photon? That is, can the photon
- flux in the universe be enough to close the universe? Or am I way off
- in my reasoning?
