  16. is there any (simple ?!) code known which uses
  17. an implicit method for the solution of a system of 
  18. first order ODE's.
  19.  
  20. The result of each integration step should therefore 
  21. be separable (for each dependent variable) in
  22.  
  23. 1)     (time-dependent) "factors" relating them only to the 
  24.      present (or next) values of the independent variables.
  25.  
  26. 2)    (time-dependent) "histories" relating them to 
  27.     previous calculated values.
