- is there any (simple ?!) code known which uses
- an implicit method for the solution of a system of
- first order ODE's.

- The result of each integration step should therefore
- be separable (for each dependent variable) in

- 1) (time-dependent) "factors" relating them only to the
- present (or next) values of the independent variables.

- 2) (time-dependent) "histories" relating them to
- previous calculated values.
