  27. I want to assure you that that I thought the use of the term
  28. "math whiz" *was* rather complimentary.

  30. I am a mathematician, and have been for many years, and I
  31. *never* have heard of any other time someone objected to
  32. the use of that term.

  34. I can't help noticing that you are being so circumspect that
  35. you didn't even quote what the offending term was, in your post
  36. above.  In my opinion, there is *nothing* to worry about.
