  11. I want the nodes and directed links of a given directed
  12. graph to be displayed in a pleasing way - where clusters
  13. of tightly connected nodes are automatically arranged on
  14. the diagram in a local region.

  16. I am sure there are programs out there which display 
  17. directed graphs nicely, but where?

  19. I need to get out a paper on the evolution of random
  20. directed graphs, my graphs are evolving, but currently
  21. I transcribe the directed matrix to xfig and muck around
  22. with it four a couple of hours.  I could write a program
  23. - but I want to shake the bushes first.
