  14. Might anyone know of commercial sources for thin (and preferably single
  15. crystal) FREESTANDING (i.e., unsupported by a substrate)
  16. metal films, say 1000 A to a few microns?

  18. I have been told someone at the University of Denmark (?) routinely
  19. produces high quality thin metal films, but I don't know the details
  20. or whether anyone else produces these as well.
