- I recall being taught about gas turbines using a demonstration apparatus
- made by Cussons, based on a Napier turbocharger. As suggested in the
- original post, a fuel system/combustion chamber was placed between the
- compressor and turbine (in flow terms, not literally). The thing was simply
- connected to a generator, but it did work (And made a lot of noise). As
- part of my Honour Project I tried to do a simulation of it.
