- I built a REALLY cheap humidity sensor many years ago as follows....

- Attach 1/4" copper foil to ends of microscope slide and then deposit
- a film of carbon black to the assembly with a candle. As I remember, the
- device was pretty sensitive. Be sure to clean the slide well and try
- to get the carbon black deposited evenly. An op-amp was then used to drive
- an A/D converter for a home-brew weather computer.
