- I am trying to get into packet radio. The best way ($$ being a BIG factor)
- seems to be to build the BayCom modem and use the KA9Q software and the AX25
- packet driver for the BayCom modem.
-
- I got the postscript file (wicked cool!) of the schematic for same, but,
- cannot locate a TCM3105 chip. Does anyone know where I can get one?
-
- Someone mentioned "the BayCom or DigiCom kits". I was not aware that there
- was a "BayCom kit". Perhaps this would be ideal. (Comments? Pointers?)
-
- I thought about PMP (Poor Man's Packet) and even got the software, but when I
- tried contacting Andy Payne (of PMP fame) about the availability of their
- kit, I never got any reply.
