- Yep, the slight difference in frame rate, color encoding, and dimensions make
- PAL->NTSC (or NTSC->PAL) difficult.

- The good news is that there ARE multi-standard VCR's which can play
- PAL tapes, all can feed a monitor, and some are able to trick your _TV_ into
- displaying an adequate image. The trouble comes when you try to record to a
- NTSC VHS VCR.

- BTW: I have a video card which can take PAL or NTSC, in S-Video or composite,
- and output VGA, NTSC S-Video or composite, or (with an extra encoder) PAL.
