- Not only do the levels not match, the phone line can have 60 volts across its
- wires and will fry your Mac when it is ringing. You have to use a transformer
- to isolate your Mac from the phone line. It's a nice project but you must
- be more comfortable with electronics before you do it if you don't want to
- lose your Mac.
