  12. I, too was told that the Motorola development kit is no longer available
  13. at any price.  I hope Moto changes their mind on that, or at least
  14. releases the design and software so third parties can recreate it.
  15. I would be willing to pay significantly more than $50 for it.

  17. The chip itself looks usefull, but certainly very limited.  For the
  18. price, it could easily become a "super-PAL", and replace lots of
  19. random logic where speed isn't critical.  I am considering using
  20. one to debounce, encode, and serialize a keypad for use with a
  21. remote lock.  The limited program store and RAM will restrict 
  22. applications, but there should be lots of jobs that this thing
  23. will do nicely.
