- Remember, the reason for classifying information as "Secret" is
- usually to hide it from your friends/citizens/boss/etc. The "Enemy"
- is just the most convienent excuse. Why else would the US DoD want
- to classify satelite pictures that the Soviets were selling?

- To bring this back to sci.crypt, this is the reason why people have
- the idea that NSA is trying to make sure crypto-systems weak enough
- for NSA to crack.
