- The Astrophysical Journal is not too interested in long, theoretical
- papers on non-mainstream topics. (I refer to the editors, not to referees.)
- I have submitted shorter papers on special topics, such as "Quasars: near vs.
- far". Even then, the editorial reception is far from friendly, and the
- delays are enormous. I am doing what I can. Thanks for your expression of
- interest.

-
- The presentation of the full Meta Model itself is too lengthy for a
- journal. Moreover I have written at a semi-technical level so that non-
- astronomers have a chance to read and judge the issues. The book manuscript
- has been thoroughly reviewed: by four astronomers that I asked to review it,
- and by two referees that the publishers chose.
-
- If the model merits further attention after this publication, perhaps
- the journals will be more receptive to some technical papers on it at that
- time. -|Tom|-
