  13. I began running about 3 months ago and am near 50. The major
  14. difficulty I experience is a sharp pain under my left shoulderblade
  15. about half way to my waist. It starts after about 1/2 mile and
  16. does not go away unless I stop running for 30 seconds or so. It sometimes 
  17. recurs but often not. Would someone tell me what the likely cause is?
