- Steel wool or a soft scrub sponge (the ones with the nylon scrubber
- bottom) may do the job. Neither will scratch glass -if- there is no
- grit around. However they will drag existing grit around.

- Paint remover will, well, remove paint. More than desired if you're
- unlucky. Wiping it onto the glass with a paper towel and then using the
- soft scrub sponge may be the best combo.
