- There's another method that _may_ work, depending on the type of seal:

- 1) Remove all the interior and exterior trim that is readily removable
- (sometimes you have to leave the exterior trim in place when removing the
- windshield glass).

- 2) Get a piece of clothesline rope at least as long as the perimeter of the
- windshield seal.

- 3) Pry up the seal around the interior outside perimeter and stuff in the
- clothesline rope, keeping it taut.

- 4) Starting at one corner, press out the windshield from the inside.

- 5) If it breaks, console yourself that you are probably better off with a nice
- new windshield anyway, and they are not all that expensive for ordinary cars.
