  11. Well, I can't resist another chance to warn off someone about the 
  12. ASTRO/SAFARI. I owned an ASTRO (1986), it went through a lot of the problems 
  13. described by the previous poster. I bought another (SAFARI flavored)
  14. after 3 years to take advantage of ABS, AWD, extended body, bigger engine,
  15. etc. Sold it after 6 months due to quality problems. In the shop every
  16. 2 weeks, sometimes the same problem, sometimes new problems. I couldn't take
  17. it anymore. Wrote to GM, argued all the way up the food chain for 
  18. replacement. No deal. I cut my losses and bought another vehicle from
  19. another manufacturer. Your mileage may vary. Stellar feature-set on this
  20. iron, but they couldn't deliver the goods. For a longer version of 
  21. what went wrong with my ASTRO/SAFARI, send mail. Not for the faint of heart
  22. though...
