I would like to get a little more power out of my '91 Ford F-150 truck which is powered by a 6-cyl inline 4.9 litre engine. Two possibilities are replacing the camshaft (e.g, Iskenderian) and exhaust headers (e.g, Hooker). My question is, will the truck fail emissions testing if I do either or both of these? I expect to remain here in Oregon, where I currently do not have to have it tested at all,but conscience dictates that I cannot be a worse polluter than Ford intended.
