  25. Might you enlighten us (in general) and me (in particular, since I've only
  26. been doing this for twenty years or so, and don't have a clue as to how one
  27. determines impedance by listening).

  29. I measure the impedance of drivers and speaker system often 10 or 20 times
  30. a day on a very regular basis (these manufacturers of which you speak are
  31. willing to pay me lots of money to do that). I have a fairly extensive set
  32. of equipment here that I plug drivers into and out comes impedance curves.
  33. A lot of it I designed and built myself.

  35. Up until this point, I was under the impression (which you seem to be willing
  36. to cast doubt upon) that the numbers I was getting were based on some real
  37. physical phenomenon. I had never considered the possibility that my equipment
  38. was "conjuring" numbers. If that's true, can I get it to "conjure" other things
  39. like rabbits, money or happiness :-).
