- I have a bunch of hifi gear, a keyboard, and a rack full of sound
- modules and stuff running of the same mains outlet (via powerboards of
- course). Most (if not all) of the equipment is not earthed. I suspect
- that this is causing low-level leakage of some a.c. to all the chassis.
- As a result I have to move very gingerly around the equipment otherwise
- I get zapped if I touch anything live. There is not much to worry about,
- but enough so that it is not pleasant.
-
- Would some kind soul *please* *PLEASE* tell me how to stop my audio gear
- from behaving like a cattle prod.
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
