  15.                     OPEN VOLLEYBALL

  17.     Location:    Gateway Junior High School (Monroeville).
  18.             Only 15-20 minutes east of Oakland / Pittsburgh.
  19.  
  20.     Elibigility:    Both individuals and teams are welcome.
  21.             Men, Women, or Coed.
  22.             A great place for teams to scrimmage, or for
  23.             individuals to get some serious court time.
  24.  
  25.     Day / time:    Thursdays, 7-10 pm.
  26.  
  27.     Starting date:    September 24, 1992

  29.     Fee:        Only $26 for 12 weeks.  Cheap!
  30.             (6 week registration for $15 also available --
  31.             good for any 6 weeks during the fall session.)
  32.             (There is a one-time-per-year fee of $5 for
  33.             non-Monroeville residents which applies to all
  34.             programs, including the next session.)

  36.     Miscellaneous:    This is to be clean "power" volleyball.  Ability
  37.             levels typically range from B through AA.  There
  38.             are 2 courts, and the gym is fairly nice.  I'd
  39.             describe the atmosphere as "friendly competetive".
  40.             The program resumes with a new session in January.

  42.     Directions:    From Pittsburgh:
  43.             Take the Parkway (376) east to the third Monroeville
  44.             exit, which is Route 48 North.  Turn left at the first
  45.             light (<1/4 mile), and the entrance to GJHS's parking
  46.             lot will be immediately on your left.  The gym is at
  47.             the back of the school, next to the track.

  50.             Or take the Turnpike (76) to Exit 6 (Pittsburgh).
  51.             Exit onto Business Route 22 West, and make the first
  52.             right onto Route 48 North.  Then proceed as above.
