- Yes, although it does bring up another question or two. You say this
- is a Del Rey requirement. Does that mean other publishers have different
- requirements for their fantasy novels? If so, then are Del Rey fantasies --
- er, make that fantasy novels; I don't want to pry -- a separate genre unto
- themselves? And finally, did you know about this restriction before you wrote
- the first novel? And (really finally) how did you find out about this
- requirement?
- It does sound like an interesting chore to sort out what is and is not
- allowed.
