  12. Can anyone tell me what kinds of things can happen to someone who is
  13. placed in a federal witness protection program?  I am trying to formulate
  14. a story here, and I just need a few basics before I can proceed.
  15. I guess I am talking about more immediate proceedures... what happens
  16. during the first 24 hours someone is taken into custody.  
  17. My character may have evidence incriminating a crime family, if that
  18. makes any difference.
