  24. No, you skidded on ice.  What this means to the police and insurance 
  25. companies is that you did not take proper precautions for the conditions
  26. under which you were driving.  While it could be argued that by this
  27. reasoning it's your fault if a tree falls on your car because you shouldn't
  28. have parked there, it's a fact of life that collisions get evaluated more
  29. strictly than comprehensive claims -- as well they should, I might add.
  30. With a collision, you're putting other people's property and lives at 
  31. risk.

  34. some standing water I didn't know was there, and spent three years feeling
  35. the effects of it.  Shit happens.

  41. its own.

  46. Read the fine print on any policy on the subject of perjury.  This would
  47. be a particularly bad move as (1) you've posted about the accident and
  48. (2) it's already listed with CLUE.
