- My fathere suffers from a high blood pressure, and he needs to monitor
- his blood pressure contantly. He currently uses to different gauges,
- and he is very displeased with the results. The devices give different
- readings even if he doesn't pause at all as he swithces from one to
- the other.
-
- Now he asks me to buy the most "sophisticated" most "accurate" blood
- pressure gauge for him. My questions are the following:
-
- 1. Are there any "brand name" blood pressure gauges?
- 2. How sophisticated can blood pressure measurment be?
- 3. Are there any models/brand more reliable than others?
- 4. Is it normal to see varying results in consecutive
- measurments?
-
- Your help will be greatly appreciated. I feel that I am developing
- high blood pressure myself just thinking on this topic...
