  11. My fathere suffers from a high blood pressure, and he needs to monitor
  12. his blood pressure contantly. He currently uses to different gauges,
  13. and he is very displeased with the results. The devices  give different
  14. readings even if he doesn't pause at all as he swithces from one to
  15. the other.
  16.  
  17. Now he asks me to buy the most "sophisticated" most "accurate" blood
  18. pressure gauge for him. My questions are the following:

  20.     1. Are there any "brand name" blood pressure gauges?   
  21.     2. How sophisticated can blood pressure measurment be? 
  22.     3. Are there any models/brand more reliable than others? 
  23.     4. Is it normal to see varying results in consecutive
  24.         measurments?

  26. Your help will be greatly appreciated. I feel that I am developing
  27. high blood pressure myself just thinking on this topic...
