  30. My brother uses his standard VCR with a radio tuner attached to the 
  31. audio input jacks to record off of radio with the timer.  To record
  32. directly onto cassettes, you could get a remote control capable cassette
  33. deck and buy one of those programmable (learning) remote controls that
  34. allow you program key sequences to be issued at predetermined times.  That
  35. would do the job.  I saw a Memorex remote control that did that from
  36. Damark Catalog not too long ago.  Maybe Radio Shack carries one like it,
  37. at a much higher price than the Damark Catalog, since Memorex is now
  38. owned by Radio Shack.
