- I've got one of the regular stoves and I use unleaded fuel from
- the car in it. No problem. Since I normally have my car around
- anyway, I just snake a tube down the old tank and pump some into
- the little coleman tank when i need to use the stove. This
- way I'm not bombarded by fumes in a hot car! I got this
- idea from a friend. I have a very small siphon that I used to
- get the fuel from the tank and into coleman's tank. Takes about
- 30 seconds start to finish to get the job done.
-
- I've not noticed any difference, but then I haven't paid Colemen's
- ridiculous price for fuel in a long time. I also don't like the
- idea of leaving any kind of propane container in my car in case
- it might get too hot and pop off.

- Regards.
