  16. According to the 1993 IKEA catalog I just got at the (newly opened) Houston 
  17. store, "IKEA is not a mail-order catalog".  This catalog only listed 6 stores,
  18. which I presume are the only ones in the USA.  (As I recall, there are 3 in
  19. Pennsylvania, 1 in N.Y., 1 in the Washington DC area, and now 1 in Texas).

  21. I had heard a rumor (perhaps on this newsgroup) quite a while ago that IKEA
  22. was planning to start up a mail-order business, but it doesn't seem to have
  23. materialized.

  25. I just got an IKEA credit card;  I'll inform the group of any important,
  26. must-know IKEA facts as I get them.  :)
