  14. water you use is important. Too true.

  16. I use a Sears Distiller on all the water I drink or cook with. It's
  17. a counter-top device that can be had for about $100. After seeing
  18. the horrible brown residue left after each distillation, I quickly
  19. became convinced that I was doing my kidneys, as well as my taste
  20. buds a favor. I live in Pasadena, CA, where we get Colorado
  21. river water from time to time, as well as water from the Sierras.
