- I use a Sears Distiller on all the water I drink or cook with. It's
- a counter-top device that can be had for about $100. After seeing
- the horrible brown residue left after each distillation, I quickly
- became convinced that I was doing my kidneys, as well as my taste
- buds a favor. I live in Pasadena, CA, where we get Colorado
- river water from time to time, as well as water from the Sierras.
