  24. The Environmental Grantmakers Association (EGA) and the Consultative Group 
  25. on Biological Diversity (CGBD) have recently published "A Guide to Trade and 
  26. Environment."  Written by Thomas Wathen, an environmental Program Officer at 
  27. the Pew Charitable Trusts, it demystifies the complex nexus between trade 
  28. and the environment.  A chronology of both the GATT and NAFTA proceedings, 
  29. and a directory of NGO's working in this area are included.

  31. Anyone seeking a readable and informative introduction to this issue will 
  32. find "A Guide to Trade and the Environment" an excellent primer.
