  16. Is there any plan to add figures and pictures handling to the Info format. A
  17. picture is worth pages of text... and I think that the Info format would
  18. benefit of such addition.

  20. Anyway, I have plan to add such facility to my Xinfo (Motif version) widget,
  21. and I would like to know if somebody has done something similar first.

  23. The quick way to do it is probably to just call a program such as xv or
  24. xloadimage or a PS viewer (or whatever pictures viewer you use) when the user
  25. click or select the picture (in Info mode). For the printed document, no
  26. problem, there are enough packages around to include PS or whatever format in a
  27. TeX/LaTeX document.
