- Try "make CC=gcc" (or whatever it takes to find your gcc). I did this
- today after running into exactly the problems you mention, only on a
- HP 9000/380 running HP-UX. With the "CC=" addition, everything compiled
- just fine. I still haven't installed it yet, though, so I don't know
- for *sure* that it worked ok. Hopefully I'll get a chance to finish
- the job in the next day or so!
