  12. I am trying to convince my boss to switch to gcc. He says that he will only
  13. do so if :
  14. 1. gcc has been used in a real product.
  15. 2. It has been used with networking software, tcpip, Sun rpc, etc.
  16. 3. It works on (yuck)PC's, esp. OS/2 and Windows.

  18. He wants hard evidence of its viability largely because it is 
  19. unsupported. 
  20. If you have any answers to the above, would you please let me know ?
