  26. This function is drawn from a package of that name, which was supposed
  27. to enable saving of stuff from fcc into vm folders.  It was posted
  28. by someone from Germany if I remember correctly, and I managed to
  29. get the same bug.  Never did manage to fix it, so I threw the package
  30. out...
